The Journal of Counseling Psychology
JCP is the premiere research journal in the field of Counseling Psychology. It is published by the American Psychological Association, and receives the second most requests for individual subscriptions from association members of all journals published by APA -- just 119 fewer subscription requests in 2006 than the #1 journal, Health Psychology.
Dr. Brent Mallinckrodt is the current Editor and will continue in that role through 2011. Two students each year hold paid assistantships as Editorial Assistants. They work closely with Dr. Mallinckrodt on many aspects of journal operations. These assistantships provide excellent experience for students who plan to pursue a faculty career.
